Boarding
We started this kennel twenty years ago with a lot of consideration. We wanted to have that special place where dogs could walk, play and have an unstressed safe holiday. The kennel almost instantly became one of the most popular in the Interior and is recommended highly by Veterinarians, dog organizations and most importantly all the established clientele we have developed coming from all areas of B.C. including the States.
We pride ourselves in the valuable knowledge we have obtained over the years in the way of all health issues and the understanding that all dogs are individuals with each having their own special requirements to keep them happy and healthy
Allsgold Kennels makes sure that your pet is lovingly cared for at all times. We give your best friend the little extras that makes their time with us special, whether you are gone for a day, a week or longer. Your pet is always under our watchful eyes to ensure a happy, healthy and safe holiday.
Your Dog’s Home Away From Home
We know how much you love your dog as I do mine. Every precaution is taken to look after your best friend to the best of our ability.ﾠ
We board 10 dogs to truly and effectively look after every need they might have. Each dog is an individual and has his/her own requirements.ﾠ
The kennel building itself is bright and roomy. The inside runs are eight feet to accommodate crates and large dog beds. The inside runs are covered with heavy rubber matting to protect your dog against the cold floor. The outside runs are twelve feet and covered with an exercise area running off of them. There are also two large exercise areas for the energetic. A third very large yard has just been completed to provide a very secure area for games such as chuck it etc.ﾠ
The dogs are cared for as to their specific needs. The older dogs prefer quiet walks whereas the young and vigorous we offer walks and exercise areas to run off that extra energy to keep them happy and healthy. Please note that dogs are not intermixed unless they are from the same family. All dogs are walked on leash only.ﾠ
What to Bring:

Food:
- It is recommended you bring your own food as sudden changes to your dogs diet can lead to intestinal disturbance.
- We feed twice per day unless otherwise directed.
- Raw food diets are okay as long as they are packaged and labeled.

Immunization records
(I require yearly vaccinations–including Bordetella and external parasite control). - Rabies is optional but recommended.
- Any special bedding your dog will feel more at home with.
- Medication if necessary.
- Toys (Please note: only safe toys such as kongs, nyla bones etc).
- If your dog is used to sleeping in a crate please feel free to bring it.
